The CMSR-1 Source Reference integrates an Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator and 1 pps signal in a compact form factor. The CMSR-1 is ideal for local synchronization between down converters and demodulators. The 10 MHz signal is adjustable over 30 dB of range with a maximum output of +12 dBm. The 3.3-volt 1pps signal has a nominal 10/90 duty cycle but can be incremented or decremented by 15 mS steps. The unit is housed in a powder coated aluminum extrusion to minimize the effects of weathering. The low power consumption allows the device to be powered with a 24-volt AC wall adapter. The CMSR-1 is ideal when timing is critical, and GPS is either unavailable or not required.
